Ordering this was not easy..... we bought a 36" gas fireplace (Empire Tahoe Deluxe 36") Verified through emails that the hearth we chose will fit. You have diagrams of the hearth but it does not give the measurements of the opening. So we get the hearth delivered and put it together and there is a 3" gap all around unit. I emailed Anna (my contact person) and she didn't have an answer. She had to contact other people in the warehouse. We went back and forth for days.... finally I was told that we have to purchase the frame for this. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN MADE CLEAR IN THE BEGINNING.
