Our History
Phenix Foundry was established in 1967 in Phenix City, Alabama along the banks of the Chattahoochee River, next to Columbus, Georgia. Phenix Foundry is a green sand gray and ductile iron foundry specializing in small to medium lot size castings. We moved into our current facility in the 1970’s to make room for our first automatic mold handling line. We underwent an expansion in the 1990’s to bring on a second automatic molding line. Phenix Foundry has produced everything from ornamental iron to farm implements, to impellers and railroad parts throughout the years.
