I've really enjoyed the fireplace insert. It looks surprisingly realistic. And it throws off a good amount of heat. I've got a big room with cathedral ceilings and even so, the room temperature goes up. I love sitting in front of it. especially on a cold night. My only complaint was with delivery. I was told to expect a call from the carrier letting me know when to expect delivery and that I shouldn't accept delivery until I had inspected the product. Well, I waited but the carrier never called. I finally checked tracking only to find my delivery was made a week earlier. My first thought was that my package was stolen. Then I read the delivery note and found it was left at my basement door. I never would have looked for it there and since it was Winter, it could have been weeks before I stumbled across it. Luckily, the package was safe and the contents were intact. It could have turned out much worse.

Our friends came in from the cold and went right to the fireplace to warm up not realizing it wasn't a real fire. How perfect and beautiful are the flames. Keeping us safe. Wonderful product so realistic it fooled everyone, thank you for a great product.

It took us a while to figure out how to get the plastic shield in place. Because we have an existing door on the fireplace my husband decided to make a wood box painted black as a riser for two reasons. First the bottom of the door casing was covering up too much of the unit AND secondly by raising up the reflector plastic it doesn’t show as much. Had to rearrange things in the room because the Christmas tree lights were reflecting as well..bottom line is we love it. We swapped our family room out of the area and put our dining room in it’s place. Don’t need heat in there from a real fireplace but having a huge fireplace we didn’t use wasn’t cool either. We love the atmosphere it brings into the room.
