We warranty each and every Solo Stove product to be free of manufacturing defects, and we will replace with a new product, at our option, any genuine Solo Stove product sold by an authorized retailer that is deemed defective. Solo Stove does not warranty its products against normal wear or misuse. If your Solo Stove product was damaged due to misuse, our customer service team can analyze the damage and may be able to suggest options for the customer to remedy. If your Solo Stove product is unable to be repaired after misuse, we will extend a one-time courtesy offer, allowing you the option to purchase a new Solo Stove product for 50% off of our MSRP price listed on the website, excluding web specials. Warranty claims are not applicable for orders not placed on solostove.com, au.solostove.com, ca.solostove.com or eu.solostove.com. Warranty claims for these can be submitted via their respective websites.

Will the heat deflector be hot when in use?YES! Do not touch any part of the heat deflector when in use. It will be extremely hot. Children should always be under parental supervision when around the fire pit and heat deflector. Always treat heat deflector like an open flame.IMPORTANT: Do not use Solo Stove Heat Deflectors in windy conditions. |
When can the heat deflector be removed from the fire pit? | How do I cool it down?Let both your heat deflector and fire pit cool naturally and completely before attempting to move any component of the setup. Using heat-resistant Gloves, the heat deflector can be removed from the cooling fire pit and placed in a safe place to cool down separately. Do not place it on combustible surfaces. |
How do you clean the heat deflector, and how often should you clean it?With preventative care, like keeping the heat deflector out of the rain and humidity, cleaning sessions should be few and far between. After a few using, some soot will build up on the bottom of the deflector. We recommend polishing its surfaces with Barkeepers Friend and a dry cloth. Always ensure that the heat deflector is completely dry before storing to prevent surface rust. |

How much heat will the Mesa Heat Deflector put off?There are many factors that could influence the heat dispersion of the Mesa Heat Deflector. Among them, wind, coal bed, flame size, ambient temperature, and position of the Mesa. To get the optimal heat dispersion from your Mesa and Heat Deflector, use it in calm conditions and at a normal table height. The heat deflector is meant to send heat outwards, and can increase ambient temperatures by up to 14°C for the Mesa XL (12° for Mesa) and increase the heat radius up to two feet. |

I had placed an order, through Lowe's Home Improvement, for an Electric Firebox: Revillusion RBF42. Ordered 1st part of January. Was told I would have it in 3 weeks. When checking to see is it came in, was told it was delayed to 3/15. Was then told is was delayed until 4/25. Waited until 4/27 to check on it. Was then told it was now delayed until August. This firebox was going in a new Sun Room addition. I could not get my final inspection until the Firebox was installed. I went on line and googled for this same product. US Fireplace Store web site was given to me. This was on a Saturday. I call and reached a very nice man. Explain what I was look for. He checked and told me they had 30 of them in stock. I almost fell out of my chair. I clarified with him the product I was wanting. I ask how soon could I get it. He told me it would ship today. Again, was amazed. It arrived on the following Monday. What a pleasure and a relief working with US Fireplace Store and their employees. Exceed my expectations.
