The environmentally friendly ENERVEX EcoDamper System is the first combined draft and damper system for use with wood-fired fireplaces, stoves etc.
The EcoDamper System quietly manages a perfect draft and prevents heat from escaping through the chimney when the fireplace is not in use. It eliminates the need for glass doors, opening up many new design options while allowing for a larger view area of the fire and a more natural look.
The system consists of the RSHT Chimney Fan, the Manual Fireplace Damper (MFD-S) and the EFC 211 Control.

The Eco Damper connects a draft and safety controller, the EFC211 to an RSHT Chimney Fan, the MFD-S Manual Fireplace Damper.

Tired of smoke getting into your eyes? The RSHT is the cure. It will literally suck the smoke out from the chimney flue This high-temperature exhaust fan is typically used in venting solid-fuel fireplaces, BBQs, pizza ovens and stoves. Installation is clean and easy - and the fan's compact design is barely visible from the ground level. The fan can be recessed or hidden behind the chimney top enclosure.

The MFD-S Manual Fireplace Damper for solid fuel prevents excess heat from escaping through the chimney when the fireplace is not in use, and prevents backdraft down the chimney. It is designed for chimney top installations. The MFD-S is a manual operated and gravity activated fireplace damper for round chimneys. Although it is designed to support and function with an ENERVEX chimney fan, it works equally well without it. It can be used as a replacement for worn-out, zero clearance fireplace dampers. The damper is operated with a pull chain and handle (included) mounted in the fireplace. The MFD-S is designed for chimney top installations and is rated for temperatures up to 1400°F (760°C).
