The Touchstone Sideline Forte Elite Smart Electric Fireplace offers advanced LED flame technology, WiFi enabled smart home compatibility and a traditional fireplace size. Easily control the flame and heat settings by remote control or mobile phone app. Through the Tuya Smart app, you can configure Google Home and Amazon Alexa devices and use voice commands to control the fireplace power and heat.
The heart of Touchstone's electric fireplaces is the flame itself. The LED flames deliver the same relaxing effect of real flames, without the smokey smell or mess, and they look great in any room of the house.
To create the cozy atmosphere of a traditional fireplace, this electronic unit emits authentic-looking flames that emulate a real fire. The Touchstone fireplace LED flames look so natural that friends and family may think you own a traditional wood burning fireplace.
The front glass remains cool to the touch, providing a safer fireplace experience compared to a wood or gas burning fireplace. The Sideline Elite is ideal for use in homes with children and pets or in areas where wood burning fireplace use is restricted.
With the dual heat and flame controls, you can enjoy the beauty of the fireplace with the heat turned on or off in any season or climate. The Sideline Elite Electric Fireplace adds a cozy feel to your room with the push of a button or voice command. The heater timer and auto shut-off add extra convenience.
Two heat settings (high and low) with a thermostat quickly warm a room up to 400 square feet. Please note, the heater is not designed to be the primary heat source in your room or home.
Create your own fireplace style with the Sideline Elite's 60 flame and base color combinations and fireplace hearth media. Use the log set for a traditional look or combine the crystals and driftwood for a more modern style.
With a slim 5 1/2-inch depth, the Sideline Elite can be used as a recessed fireplace insert in the wall or build out, or as a wall mount fireplace.
You can easily add a Touchstone® electric fireplace to a room remodel or new home. With no need for gas venting or a chimney, you can install a Sideline Elite in any room from the bathroom to finished basement.
The Sideline Elite includes a mounting bracket and an easy-to-follow product manual. The fireplace can be plugged into a standard 120v outlet or hardwired by a professional.
The heat vents are on the top front of the unit. We recommend placing your Sideline Elite at least 20” below your ceiling or 8” below your mounted flat screen TVfor safe clearance from the heater unit.
The remote control uses AAA batteries (batteries are not included).
NOTE: You can also control the fireplace settings using the included remote control or buttons on the fireplace, without WiFi.
|As an added safety feature, the WiFi connection will automatically disconnect after **24 consecutive hours of non-use. This helps to ensure the fireplace is not inadvertently turned on by app after an extended period of time.|
To re-enable the WiFi connection, simply hold down the FLAME button on the fireplace touchscreen for 15 seconds until the display shows P4. Watch the video for more detailed instructions to re-establish the WiFi connection.

WiFi Operation: To adjust the fireplace settings with your mobile device and use Amazon Alexa® or Google Home® voice commands, you will need to add the Tuya Smart app to your mobile phone or tablet.
2. Set Up the Tuya Smart App
Follow the app instructions to set up and register a Tuya Smart account and sign in to the app. Once you've downloaded the app to your mobile device, open the Tuya Smart App, tap “Register” to register an account, then sign in.
3. Add the Elite Smart Fireplace to the Tuya Smart App
Sign in with the Tuya Smart account, add the device, and change the device name to the word or phrase you will use for voice commands, i.e. Alexa, turn on the fireplace. We recommend using a simple phrase like "fireplace." You must use your designated phrase, i.e. "fireplace" in your voice commands for Alexa and Google Home to control your fireplace. 4. Pair the Tuya Smart app

5. Operate the Fireplace Settings with the Tuya Smart App
Once you have completed the Tuya Smart app set up and added your fireplace to your WiFi network, you can operate the fireplace through the Tuya Smart app.
