Using our Rutland Products you can Keep your Fire-Burning  Equipment operating at peak efficiency. Repair and maintain your fireplace, chimney, wood stove, or gas stove like the new Creosote Remover.

RUTLAND Creosote Remover keeps creosote buildup at bay remarkably easily! Add 1-2 scoops to fire two times per week to turn sticky, tar-like creosote into brushable ash and prevent further buildup from occurring.

Safe for use in all chimneys and wood-burning appliances. Will not damage catalytic converters.

Creosote buildup can cause chimney fires if left untreated. The use of creosote remover does not eliminate the need for regular chimney cleaning.

It’s great to find a product that performs as advertised. Upon cleaning my ss lined chimney last fall I found a thick buildup of hard impenetrable creosote and was convinced I’d have to refine the chimney as it was so built up and impossible to remove. My local chimney cleaner suggested Rutland creosote remover and I figured I’d give it a try even though I was sure it wouldn’t work. But upon checking the chimney this fall the buildup was completely gone and just a light powder remained. I will continue to use it regularly and strongly recommend it to anyone who heats with wood.
