We recommend wearing protective gloves and eyewear. Working with a cold stove, remove all old gasketing and adhesive from the channel of your stove door or window. For the adhesive to adhere properly, you must clean to bare metal in the gasket channel. Lightly dampen the gasket and the gasket channel in the stove door.

Knead Tube Before Use. Cut tip on the angle. Apply a 1/8″ bead of cement into the gasket channel, then press the gasket firmly into the channel adhering to cement. Close the door to create a crease in the excess gasket. Open the door and trim the excess gasket at the crease. Leave the door open and allow it to air dry for one hour. Be sure to heat cure within 30 days.
