Solo Stove does not warranty its products against normal wear or misuse. If your Solo Stove product was damaged due to misuse, our customer service team can analyze the damage and may be able to suggest options for the customer to remedy. If your Solo Stove product is unable to be repaired after misuse, we will extend a one-time courtesy offer, allowing you the option to purchase a new Solo Stove product for 50% off of our MSRP price listed on the website, excluding web specials. Warranty claims are not applicable for orders not placed on solostove.com, au.solostove.com, ca.solostove.com or eu.solostove.com. Will Heat Deflector be hot when in use? YES! Do not touch any part of the Heat Deflector when in use. It will be extremely hot. Children should always be under parental supervision when around the fire pit and Heat Deflector. Always treat Heat Deflector like an open flame.
IMPORTANT: Do not use Solo Stove Deflectors in windy conditions.
When can Heat Deflector be removed from the fire pit? | How do I cool down Heat Deflector? Let both your Heat Deflector and fire pit cool naturally and completely before attempting to move any component of the setup. Using heat-resistant Gloves, Heat Deflector can be removed from the cooling fire pit and placed in a safe spot to cool down separately.
How do you clean Heat Deflector, and how often should you clean it? With preventative care, like keeping Heat Deflector out of the rain and humidity, cleaning sessions should be few and far between. After a few uses, some soot will build up on the bottom of Heat Deflector. We recommend polishing Heat Deflector’s surfaces with Barkeepers Friend and a dry cloth. Always ensure Heat Deflector is completely dry before storing to prevent surface rust.
How should I store Heat Deflector? Protect Heat Deflector from the elements by storing it in a cool, dry place. Station is the perfect storage solution for Heat Deflector, able to keep it clean, dry, and off the ground.
What is included with Heat Deflector? Heat Deflector is ready for use, right out of the box. The deflection disc and three detachable legs are included, along with a small storage bag for the detachable legs.
How should I use Heat Deflector? Heat Deflector is perfectly designed to fit Solo Stove Ranger and can be assembled and placed on top once a fire is already started in Ranger’s burn chamber.
Start a fire inside Ranger and add wood until the flame is sustained. Using heat-resistant Gloves, place Heat Deflector over Ranger’s flame ring. Add firewood through the open areas between Ranger and Heat Deflector to bring your flame to a secondary burn. Enjoy the extra warmth deflected from your smokeless fire pit.
IMPORTANT: Do not use Solo Stove Deflectors in windy conditions.
Does Heat Deflector fit over Shield? Heat Deflector performs best when placed directly over Ranger without obstructions. Using Shield and Heat Deflector at the same time is not recommended and may reduce vital airflow to your smokeless flames.

  • I had placed an order, through Lowe's Home Improvement, for an Electric Firebox: Revillusion RBF42. Ordered 1st part of January. Was told I would have it in 3 weeks. When checking to see is it came in, was told it was delayed to 3/15. Was then told is was delayed until 4/25. Waited until 4/27 to check on it. Was then told it was now delayed until August. This firebox was going in a new Sun Room addition. I could not get my final inspection until the Firebox was installed. I went on line and googled for this same product. US Fireplace Store web site was given to me. This was on a Saturday. I call and reached a very nice man. Explain what I was look for. He checked and told me they had 30 of them in stock. I almost fell out of my chair. I clarified with him the product I was wanting. I ask how soon could I get it. He told me it would ship today. Again, was amazed. It arrived on the following Monday. What a pleasure and a relief working with US Fireplace Store and their employees. Exceed my expectations.
