What types of burners are available for the units?
The Fireplace line offers Tree-Style and H-Style burners. |
What components are included in the kit?
Each kit includes a black steel grate, a CROSSFIRE® brass burner strapped to a black, raised plate, a flex line/key valve kit, and a Push Button Ignition Kit. The kit also includes a 65K BTU and 90K BTU Reducing Orifice for optional installation. |
How many different sizes of grates are available?
We offer four grate sizes. They accommodate hearth widths of 24", 42", 42", and 48" or larger. |
What media options are available?
Logs are not included in the kits to allow the customer to select ceramic or steel logs that match their aesthetics. We carry two styles of log sets and provide recommendations and special discounts for each size kit. We also offer beautiful steel log sets to match any size kit. We offer black lava and rolled lava, the most common media to finish the look of the fireplace. |
What is the height of the grate at the top of the legs?
The grate is 4" tall at the top of the legs. It is designed to perfectly accommodate the CROSSFIRE burner and a wind cage for Warming Trends electronics below it. |
Why is the plate raised?
The plate is raised 1.25" to easily accommodate and conceal burner connections and pilot assembly parts underneath it. |
How are all burners attached to the plate?
All burners are securely strapped to the plate. |
What type of inlet is available?
The burners are all designed with a side inlet. The burner inlets come pre-installed on the right side of the unit. If the fireplace has a left-side gas inlet, the plate/burner and flex line connection can simply be rotated 180 degrees for this installation. |
What is the BTU capacity, and is there an option to reduce the BTU's?
BTU capacities range by type and size of burner selected, from 230K on the smallest kit to 290K on the largest kit. BTUs to the burner can be reduced by simply adjusting the key valve until the desired flame height (BTU delivery) is reached. Each kit also comes with an optional 65K BTU and 90K BTU Reducing Orifice. If required, the reducing orifice can be installed by simply replacing the 2" blank nipple with the reducing orifice. |
Where should the pilot be placed on the plate?
It is recommended that any pilot assembly for the units be installed toward the front of the plate fireplace to avoid overheating and causing possible damage to the pilot. We have provided pre-cut knockouts on the raised plate for the correct placement of pilot assemblies. |
Which log sets are recommended for each outdoor fireplace kit?
- 24" and Larger - Compatible with MOS or MWS. - 42" and Larger - Compatible with MOM, MOL, MWM, or MSL. - 42" and Larger - Compatible with MOL or MWL. - 48" and Larger - Compatible with MOL or MWL. |

I had placed an order, through Lowe's Home Improvement, for an Electric Firebox: Revillusion RBF42. Ordered 1st part of January. Was told I would have it in 3 weeks. When checking to see is it came in, was told it was delayed to 3/15. Was then told is was delayed until 4/25. Waited until 4/27 to check on it. Was then told it was now delayed until August. This firebox was going in a new Sun Room addition. I could not get my final inspection until the Firebox was installed. I went on line and googled for this same product. US Fireplace Store web site was given to me. This was on a Saturday. I call and reached a very nice man. Explain what I was look for. He checked and told me they had 30 of them in stock. I almost fell out of my chair. I clarified with him the product I was wanting. I ask how soon could I get it. He told me it would ship today. Again, was amazed. It arrived on the following Monday. What a pleasure and a relief working with US Fireplace Store and their employees. Exceed my expectations.
