The Wiles Damper is an energy-saving, easy-to-install, visually-appealing, top sealing damper cap that helps save on home heating and cooling costs. It keeps the heat and energy in, and the rain and animals out. Made of cast-aluminum and stainless steel, it features a unique spring design that ensures a better seal for your chimney. You will only need approximately one inch above the top of the damper to ensure the lid can fully open.

The damper features a silicone rubber U-shaped gasket that has a wide temperature range and is rated for use outdoors. It grips the damper collar better and provides a far better seal than most other gaskets available.

The Wiles Damper uses a wireform design that allows for it to open higher than most other top mounting dampers, and it's also much stronger in terms of structural integrity, meaning that it is less susceptible to closure from snow load in areas where there is a lot of snowfall.
