Our ethanol fireplaces can be installed virtually anywhere - in walls, cabinets, high rise buildings, commercial / residential / hospitality spaces, indoors and outdoors. Because EcoSmart Fire’s ethanol fireplaces are ventless, they require no gas line, no electricity, and no chimney for a hassle free and cost effective installation. Our ethanol fireplaces have been designed and tested with safety as our top priority. We have outlined requirements for each ethanol burner, ethanol fireplace insert, and ethanol freestanding fireplace in our collection. Unlike gas fireplaces or traditional wood burning fireplaces, our ethanol fireplace inserts require no venting, no gas line, no electricity - eliminating the need and cost of three sub contractors. They are simply mounted into the constructed main wall framework with the appropriate opening size for the fireplace insert selected. This design can be achieved as long as the TV is protected. You have 3 possible solutions:

Solution 1: The TV needs a non-combustible mantel/ledge to act as a heat shield

Solution 2: The TV needs to be recessed in a niche

Solution 3: The TV needs to sit back off the level of the flame

A Bioethanol fireplace is an open fireplace that is fueled by bioethanol. A real flame is produced by the lighting of bioethanol, with a by-product being heat in the process. It is a fireplace that needs no flue for exhausting emissions, no utilities such as electricity or gas connection, and it uses a sustainable fuel source.

Clean your EcoSmart Fire unit after you have used 50 liters [13.20 Gal.] of fuel or as soon as you notice black deposits on or near the burner of the ethanol fireplace. Black marks can be removed from the stone, solid surfaces or stainless steel with a mild abrasive washing product such as JIF or similar. It is recommended to test a small area first to ensure the cleaning product chosen is appropriate and will not mark or damage the surface. Burners can be washed as required in hot soapy water (even in your dishwasher) from time to time and the internal mechanics won’t deteriorate like some other brands as all internal parts are stainless steel.

EcoSmart Fire’s indoor ethanol fireplaces are ventless, meaning all the heat stays in the room rather than escaping up a flue or chimney like it would with a traditional wood burning fireplace. Increased heat retention also means increased fuel efficiency. EcoSmart Fire’s collection of ethanol fireplaces offer a heat output ranging from 5,000 BTU - 20,000 BTU’s.

The heat output of our indoor and outdoor ethanol fireplaces vary based on the model selected. When used indoors, EcoSmart Fire’s ethanol fireplaces comfortably heat between 215 sq feet and 700 sq feet.
